Job overview at a glance

We are helping our Client to identify the right candidate to support Nirapon Team. This role will be responsible for identifying and assessing effective methods to improve connections between Nirapon and its service providers. The candidate will support as a key contact person of ELEVATE customer and will develop relationships with the client, vendors and factories globally and drive social compliance and sustainability initiatives. They will work in partnership with the Senior Manager and other ELEVATE staff to meet customer expectations and execute against our SOW obligations. The position will help to represent the customer externally with supplier and service providers and internally with ELEVATE delivery teams. They will report directly to the Nirapon CEO & CSO.

Responsibilities:

A dynamic and instinctive individual contributes to a clients’ social responsibility program and needs. The Program Management role is responsible for executing the customer’s RBA risk monitoring program. They will be responsible for ensuring the assessment plan is executed against expected timelines, monitoring the compliance and social performance of the global supply chain, communicating directly with suppliers before and after assessments and working closely with the client’s program lead to shape the program.

The primary responsibilities include the following:


  • Manage coordination of multiple projects to support safety management system implementation at Nirapon member factories, identify gaps and make recommendations for process improvements.
  • Work with service providers as directed by leadership to provide detailed guidance both written and verbal to improve results and build rapport as subject matter expert on the effectives of factory designed Safety Management Systems.
  • Drive for improved understanding and results through business cases and influence that resonate with local partners and stakeholders. (i.e., service provider meetings and eventually local members meetings, factory training sessions etc.) which may be outcomes of the communications project.
  • Plan, develop and manage expectations, understanding risks and problem solve.
  • Lead teams (BRAC, Helpline and Nirapon Service Team) in a coordinated and cohesive effort.
  • Develop working relationships and rapport with teams.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in addition to project management (Six Sigma or similar)
  • Proven experience in organizational leadership and project management
  • A thorough and proven understanding of safety management systems, hazard and risk IOSH, NEBOSH or equivalent qualification an advantage.
  • Ability to complete multiple tasks with multiple deadlines.
  • Excellent at problem-solving under pressure.
  • Confident in making effective decisions with given information.
  • Leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are crucial to this role in order to present meaningful data findings in an impactful, easy-to-understand manner.
  • Advanced excel and presentation skills a must.
  • Curious, eager to learn, creative problem solving, teaching and training experience.
  • Fluent in English and Bangla both spoken and written.
